El-Saieh Gallery

El-Saieh Gallery was founded in the mid 1950s by the Haitian musician and composer; Issa El-Saieh. It counts itself among the first art galleries in Port-at-Prince, Haiti. The gallery works with contemporary Haitian artists and specializes in Haitian artworks dating back to the 1950s. The gallery is located in Pacot near downtown Port-au-Prince with an office in Miami, Florida.

Issa El-Saieh helped to introduce Haitian art to the world and developed and promoted some of Haiti’s most important painters, including; J.E Gourge, Andre Pierre, Seymour Bottex, Andre Normil, Alexandre Gregoire, Jacques Chery and many more. He dedicated his life to his music and collaborating with Haitian artists. Issa passed away in 2005, and the gallery is now run by his family.
